My printer stopped connecting to the router after years of not having a problem.  The printer indicates that the MAC filter is enabled.  However, I checked and it is not.  I have unplugged the machine, unplugged the router, reset everything and even activated the MAC filter and added the MAC address...nothing! Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @Kim133,

I'd like to help!

Try the below suggestions-

Connect the printer to the Wi-Fi network

  1. Place the printer near the Wi-Fi router.

  2. Turn on the printer and make sure ink cartridges are installed and paper is loaded in the main tray.

  3. Connect the printer to the local network.

Printers with a touchscreen control panel:

    1. On the printer, select Restore Network Settings (or similar) from the Wireless , Settings , or Restore Settings menu.

    2. Get the network name (SSID) and password. Go to Finding Your Wireless Password for more information.

    3. Select Wireless Setup Wizard from the Wireless, Settings, or Network Setup menu, and then select your network name and enter the password.

If you are still unable to connect the printer, please print a wireless test report and share it with me in a private messge.

1. Make sure the printer is turned on and the paper is loaded in the tray.

2. From the printer control panel display, touch and slide your finger across the screen and then touch Setup.

3. Touch Print Reports.

4. Touch Print Wireless Test Report.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
