Hi @VintageHippy,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand how frustrating this can be, especially when you just want to reset your printer’s Wi-Fi and the Embedded Web Server (EWS) page won’t load. Let’s go step by step to get you there.

Steps to Access EWS and Reset Wi-Fi

1. Find the Printer’s IP Address

  • On the printer control panel, press the Information (i) button or Print Network Configuration Page.
  • Look for IPv4 Address (e.g., 192.168.x.x).

2. Open EWS

  • On your Chromebook or tablet, open Chrome.
  • Type the IP address in the address bar (e.g., http://192.168.x.x).
  • Press Enter. The EWS page should appear.

3. Reset Network Settings

  • Go to Network > Wireless Settings.
  • Select Restore Network Defaults or Change Settings.
  • Reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi.
