Hi @Benzojones,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet 2755e is displaying a blinking "E" along with other lights and is not connecting to Wi-Fi, even after replacing cartridges, you can follow these steps to resolve the issue:

1. Check Cartridge Installation

  • Ensure that the cartridges are properly installed in their respective slots.

  • Make sure no protective tape remains on the contacts of the cartridges.

  • Clean the cartridge contacts with a lint-free cloth dipped lightly in distilled water if necessary.
    • Wait for the contacts to dry before reinserting them.

Check the cartridge

2. Error Code Indication

  • "E" with other lights may suggest specific errors based on patterns. If the Ink Level icons and Error icon blink along with the Ink Alert light (on or blinking), ensure the cartridges are compatible and not faulty.

Error icon, Ink Level icons blink, Ink Alert light on

3. Wi-Fi Connection Troubleshooting

  • If the Wireless light is blinking and the signal bars are cycling, but the connection is not established, reset the wireless connection:

    1. Press and hold the Wireless button on the back of the printer for five seconds.

    2. Wait for the printer to enter Auto Wireless Connect mode.

Wireless light blinks, Wireless Attention icon is on, and signal bars are cycling

4. Factory Reset

  • Perform a factory reset on the printer to re-establish printer defaults:

    1. Turn on the printer, disconnect the power cord.

    2. Wait for 60 seconds.

    3. Reconnect the power cord, and plug it directly into a wall outlet.

    4. Turn the printer on.

5. Ensure Proper Wi-Fi Network Settings

  • Confirm the Wi-Fi network is operational and the signal is strong.

  • Retry connecting using the recommended Wi-Fi setup procedure as outlined in the HP printer software or HP Smart App.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
