3630 wi -fi not available on printer

product is HP DESKJEt 3630 the Blue Light is not showing Wi fI ? I do have WIFI on my Apple Mac This is my Virgin Media Router and wifi in my house but the 3630  PRINTER DOES NOT SHOW any Wi Fi what could I be missing ?

Thank you for reaching out. I understand your HP DeskJet 3630 is not showing the blue wireless light, even though your Mac is connected to your Virgin Media Wi-Fi network.

Before we proceed, please print a Network Configuration Report from the printer if possible. This will help confirm whether the printer's wireless radio is enabled and whether Wi-Fi Direct or a wireless connection is already active.

In the meantime, let's perform a wireless/network reset on the printer:

• With the printer powered on, press and hold the Wireless (Wi-Fi) button and the Cancel (X) button together for about 5 seconds.  
• The wireless light should begin blinking, indicating that the printer has been restored to wireless setup mode. 

Once the printer is in setup mode, use the HP app to reconnect it to your Wi-Fi network:

1. Install and open the HP app on your Mac if it is not already installed. 
2. Make sure your Mac is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want the printer to use. 
3. In the HP app, select Add Printer. 
4. The app should detect the DeskJet 3630 in setup mode. 
5. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect the printer to your wireless network. 

A couple of important notes:

• The HP DeskJet 3630 supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. If your Virgin Media router broadcasts both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, make sure the printer is connected to the 2.4 GHz network. 
• If your router uses band steering (combining 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz under one network name), the setup can sometimes be more reliable if you temporarily separate the bands or ensure your Mac is connected via 2.4 GHz during setup. 

After completing the reset and setup, please let us know:

• Is the blue wireless light solid, blinking, or still off? 
• Were you able to find the printer in the HP app? 
• What does the Network Configuration Report show for Wireless Status?
