My printer will not connect to wifi.  I can print with ethernet connection but every time I try to connect to wifi I get errors.  Diagnostics says 'Driver check issue not fixed".   Or error code INTL0000001

Hi @catbird21,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I hear your concern about how  it can be when your printer won’t connect to Wi‑Fi, especially since it works fine with Ethernet. Thank you for sharing the error details  that helps narrow things down.

In the meantime, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Restart printer and router: Power off both devices, wait 30 seconds, then turn them back on. This often clears temporary connection issues.
  2. Update printer firmware: Outdated firmware can cause Wi‑Fi errors. You can check for updates via the HP Smart app or the printer’s settings menu.
  3. Reinstall printer driver: Since diagnostics mention a driver issue, uninstall the current driver/software and reinstall the latest version from HP’s support site.
  4. Reset network settings: On the printer, restore network defaults, then reconnect to Wi‑Fi using the correct SSID and password.
  5. Check router settings: Ensure your router is broadcasting on 2.4 GHz  and that MAC address filtering is disabled.

I hope this helps.

I'm an HP Employee.
