5.0GHz WiFi not 2.4

I have new internet service and am trying to connect my printer, but I get a message telling me that my printer needs 2.4GHz not 5.0GHz. Ugh!! Is there a way to fix this?

True - this printer supports 2.4GHz only.

Additional Information...

Standard Wireless Connection (using a router)

If your router supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz,

Make sure the printer is broadcasting on both frequencies.

If the router supports it, assign a separate SSID named network for each frequency

Connect the printer to the SSID network for the 2.4GHz frequency.
