I have spent 3 hours with tech support to get this printer recognized in the HP Smart App as my printer keeps going off line and I keep getting a display message that says I am not connected to the Internet and will be unable to print. It worked finally for 1 day back to not being recognized. The display on printer shows it connected. The technician said the printer doesn’t do well on 5G so I am using 2.4. Have done so much troubleshooting is anyone else having this issue?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Let's restore the network settings on the Printer: 1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ). 2. Touch Network Setup. 3. Touch Restore Network Settings. A message appears stating that the network defaults will be restored. 4. Touch Yes.
Once done, connect the Printer to the Wi-Fi.
And try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16

We'll have to perform a reset on the Printer for this. I have sent you a private message, for more details that cannot be shared in a public post.
Please do check your inbox on the communities page for the private message.
