HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a pre-existing Instant Ink plan for an old 7155 printer. I bought an 8035e to upgrade what I have and also enroll that into a plan for ink. However, I have a few problems with this.

First of all, on my brand new printer, I can't seem to obtain my printer claim code. I've read up on how to do this already. I have reset the printer. I turned off web services and turned it back on. This does not change my hpe email at all, thus I can't tell if it generates a new claim code for me. I can't get the Printer Info page to print from the web services menu, either. Every other report prints out, except that one. It'll tell me it's generating and printing and will take several minutes, but nothing happens, even after several minutes. No indication of a new job in the queue, even. It's simply not printing the info page.

Second problem, because of this, I can't enroll my printer. If I try to as is, it claims that my printer is associated with a different connected account. It continues to do this, regardless of how many times I have re-enabled web services.

I don't understand what is going on. If someone can just, tell me why my web services info page will literally not print at all, that would be great and probably solve ALL of my problems. As of right now, I have NO idea why it won't print. I get no errors, no messages, nothing. Absolutely no response, it's as if I never clicked the request.

@Yuetchi, Welcome to HP Support Community!

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
