I face the following problem. My HP OfficeJet Pro 8132e prints properly internally generated (reports for example) pages, it prints well documents sent from my iPad, it scans nicely to my PC (all the above wirelessly), but it does not print documents sent from my PC. Everything is on the same network. PC runs windows 11

Hi @YeKa1

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thank you for sharing the details. I understand that your HP OfficeJet Pro 8132e prints correctly from the printer itself and from your iPad, scans successfully to your PC, but does not print documents sent from your Windows 11 PC. Since everything is on the same network, the issue is specific to the PC-to-printer communication.

Let’s go step by step using recommended methods:

Confirm Printer Status in HP App

  • Open the HP App on your Windows 11 PC.
  • Check if the printer shows as “Ready.” If it shows “Offline,” remove the printer and add it again using the HP App.

Run Diagnose & Fix in HP App

  • In the HP App, select your printer.
  • Go to Printer Settings > Diagnose & Fix.
  • Allow the tool to run and apply any corrections it suggests.

Verify Printer in Windows Settings

  • On your PC, go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Ensure the HP OfficeJet Pro 8132e is listed and set as the default printer.
  • If it is listed but not working, remove it and re-add it through the HP App.

Update Printer Drivers

Check Print Queue

  • Open the print queue from Settings > Printers & scanners > HP OfficeJet Pro 8132e > Open queue.
  • Clear any stuck jobs, then try printing again.

These steps will ensure the printer is correctly registered in both the HP App and Windows, and that the drivers are up to date. Once completed, please try printing a test document from your PC.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
