Complete in the order presented --

HP OfficeJet Pro 9110, 9120, 9130 Printers - Color or black ink not printing, other print quality is...

Next,

Check / Correct the Driver selection.

Make sure the driver you are using is the correct driver for the job.

 

 

Relevant to supported version of Windows and for which the HP full driver printer software has been installed --

 

Check / Correct the Printer Properties Driver setting.

 

The HP full driver printer software is available for supported supported printer models and Operating System versions.

 

Example - Windows - with Full driver printer software installed -

Printer Properties > Tab Advanced > Driver = HP driver and not the IPP / Microsoft driver.

 

Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners

Select your installed printer from the list

Select Printer Properties

Open Tab Advanced

In the Driver section, verify / adjust to the HP driver

True - Anything suggested for Windows would not apply -- ignore that part.

 

I don't know enough about the inner driver selection workings in iOS to know whether there is a corresponding setting (to Printer Properties) -- I've never found one in my iPad / iPhone but that means little.

 

If the printer only prints in Dot matrix for all documents and all photos, then I should hope the issue -- and therefore the solution -- would be included in the steps provided in that troubleshooting document.

Just to clarify, by dot matrix I mean it is printing left to right along the line instead of line by line.

I am sorry I cannot help -- I think I've just never seen what you describe on my 9135e.
