I used to be able to connect to various apps like calendars.  Now I get “Access Denied” “Try again later”. I’ve tried it frequently over the last 4-5 weeks.    Everything else works fine - wireless printing, scanning, copying.   It got a software update recently, so it was able to connect to HP evidently.  I printed a configuration report Oct 18, 2021 which shows “HP Web Services: Enabled”. Did HP drop the APPS option?

I understand you are getting this error, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Are you able to print from other devices? 
  • What is the operating system?
  • Could you please share the picture of the error message?

Printing from ANY device is fine. Scanning works fine.  I use both Mac and iPad.  The problem, however, has nothing to do with external devices.  I used to be able to turn the printer on, select APPS, and would be presented choices on the printers touch-screen. This worked when my iPad and Mac were shut down, and it’s been fine for years.    I could then select to print calendars, etc.    The error message says “Access Denied” - “try again later.  I believe the most recent update is what borked my access. I even printed a wireless Network Test Report.  Each item said “Pass”, so no issues with my WiFi.  I’d send a picture of the message, but don’t see where to attach it here.  I could not find anywhere in the menus when exactly the last firmware update occurred, but within 90 days, I’m quite certain.
