Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Setting up Hardware MAC Address on HP Printers!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
To manage and set up the Hardware MAC address for your HP printer, follow the instructions below:
Using Printer Control Panel
- Print Network Configuration Report:
- On the printer control panel, touch the Setup button.
- Navigate to Network settings.
- Select Print Wireless Network Test or Network Configuration Report.
- This report will provide the current network settings, including the MAC address.
Using Embedded Web Server (EWS)
Open the EWS:
- Ensure your printer is connected to the network.
- Open a web browser on your computer.
- Type the IP address of the printer into the address bar (found on the network configuration report). For example: http://192.168.1.100.
- Press Enter to access the EWS.
Access Network Settings:
- Once the EWS page opens, navigate to the Network tab.
- Go to Advanced Settings or Network Settings.

I’m still unable to access the configuration to input the MAC wireless address. The site for the router is receiving a malware detected and is blocked. I tried contacting Spectrum internet wifi support and they are unable to access the router for allowing the MAC address. I’ve tried finding a way to disable the MAC address without success.
any other hints/ideas?
also tried to connect direct to router but Hap 3830 doesn’t have Ethernet connection and router doesn’t have USB
