Hi @Gidgiegirl,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are trying to adjust the settings on your HP ENVY 6065e All-In-One Printer to allow it to go into sleep mode, follow these steps:
Turn on the Printer:
- Make sure your HP ENVY 6065e is powered on and ready.
Access the Printer Settings:
- You can usually adjust the settings either through the printer’s control panel or the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
- Navigate to the printer’s control panel screen.
- Look for a “Setup” or “Settings” menu. This might be represented by a gear icon or a similar symbol.
- Find and select the “Printer Maintenance” or “Device Maintenance” option.
- Look for an option related to “Sleep Mode” or “Power Management.”
- Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
- Select your HP ENVY 6065e from the list of printers.
- Go to “Printer Settings” or “Manage Printer Settings.”
- Look for “Power Management” or “Energy Settings.”
- Find the option to enable or adjust sleep mode settings.
Adjust Sleep Mode Settings:
- Set the desired time for the printer to enter sleep mode after inactivity. This could be 5 minutes, 10 minutes, or another option depending on what is available.
Save Your Settings:
- Make sure to save any changes you make to the settings.
Test the Settings:
- Leave the printer idle for the amount of time you set to ensure it enters sleep mode as expected.
