I need to reset my Admin Password on my HP OfficeJet Pro 7740.
In the process of setting up an admin password on my OfficeJet Pro 7740 embedded web server, I neglected to copy & paste the password and now I am locked out of the embedded web server.

I finally found the User Manual for the OfficeJet Pro 7740, which for some reason is not provided on its support page.
In the User Manual I was able to see the proper workflow to reset the printer and the Embedded Web Server to Factory Settings. I'm back up and running again. I resolved this issue myself.

Open a web browser and type the printer IP address in the address field exactly as it appears on the Configuration Page, and then press Enter. Click the Security tab, and under General Security, set the local administrator password. Keep the username default as admin. Type the New Password and Verify Password.

John - thank you for your assistance.
My problem is that I had already created a new Admin password and I mistakenly thought it would be saved by my Safari browser. But it was not, and I neglected to copy the password -- so I am already locked out of my Embedded Web Server. That is why I need to reset my Admin Password.
Additionally, on my 7740 Web Server - there is no 'Security' tab. This is what I see when I type in the printer's IP address:
