Hi @Lesantir12 ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your frustration. If you need to perform a factory reset on your HP DeskJet 2652 All-In-One Printer, here are the general steps you can follow:

Turn on the Printer: Ensure that your printer is turned on.

Locate the Reset Button: On some HP printers, there might be a reset button. Check your printer for a small button with an icon that looks like an arrow making a U-turn or a circular arrow.

Press and Hold the Reset Button: If you find the reset button, use a paperclip or a similar tool to press and hold the button for about 5-10 seconds. This should initiate the factory reset process.

Wait for the Reset: After holding the reset button, wait for the printer to reset. This may take a minute or two.

Check the Settings: Once the reset is complete, check the printer settings to see if the administrator password has been cleared.

If your printer does not have a physical reset button, you can try resetting it through the printer's menu on the control panel. Keep in mind that the exact steps may vary depending on the model and firmware version. Here's a general guide:

Access the Printer Menu: Use the printer's control panel to navigate to the settings or setup menu.

Navigate to Reset Options: Look for an option related to resetting or restoring factory defaults.

Initiate the Reset: Select the option to reset the printer, and follow any on-screen prompts to confirm the action.

Wait for the Reset: Allow the printer to complete the reset process.

Remember that performing a factory reset will erase any customized settings on your printer, including network settings. After the reset, you'll need to set up the printer again, including connecting it to your network.

If these steps do not work, you may want to refer to the printer's user manual

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
