Hi @VNB4F23222,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M148dw printer is not connecting to Wi-Fi after changing your router, follow these steps to reconnect it.

Reset Network Settings:

  • On the printer control panel, go to the Setup menu (gear icon).
  • Navigate to Network > Restore Network Defaults and confirm the action. This will reset the network settings on the printer.

Reconnect to Wi-Fi:

  • After resetting, go back to the Network menu.
  • Select Wireless Setup Wizard. This will scan for available networks.
  • Choose your new Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the password when prompted.

Check Printer's IP Address:

  • Print a Network Configuration Page from the printer’s control panel (usually found in the Reports section). This will show the printer's IP address and confirm it’s connected to your network.

Install/Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • On your computer, make sure the printer drivers are up to date. Visit the HP website to download the latest drivers for your printer model.
  • If necessary, uninstall the current printer from your computer and reinstall it.

Check Firewall/Router Settings:

  • Ensure that your new router’s firewall settings are not blocking the printer.
  • If your router has a guest network feature, ensure your printer is connected to the main network.

Use HP Smart App:

  • If you have the HP Smart app installed, open it, and follow the prompts to add your printer. The app can help in locating the printer on your new network.

Test the Connection:

  • After reconnecting, print a test page to ensure everything is functioning correctly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
