HP ENVY 7645 e-All-in-One Printer

I have a new modem and router so new WiFi. Both the router and HP printer are in the same WiFi network but no one in our family can airprint from their iPhone or laptop and it worked prior to the WiFi change. The error message says “No Air Printer Found” and I feel like I have tried everything (with resets and power offs etc) but it’s not working. Help please?!

Hi @HG10194,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Troubleshooting AirPrint issues can be a bit tricky, but let's go through some steps to try and resolve the problem:

Check Wi-Fi Connection:

  • Make sure that both your iPhone or laptop and the HP Envy 7645 printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Double-check the Wi-Fi settings on both devices to ensure they are connected to the correct network.

Update Firmware:

  • Ensure that your HP Envy 7645 printer has the latest firmware installed. You can usually update the firmware through the printer's control panel or by visiting the HP support website.

Restart Printer and Devices:

  • Turn off the printer and your iPhone or laptop. Wait for a minute, then turn them back on. This can help in refreshing the network connections.

Check AirPrint Settings on the Printer:

  • On the printer's control panel, navigate to the wireless or network settings. Make sure that AirPrint is enabled. If it's disabled, enable it and try printing again.

Check Firewall Settings:

  • Ensure that there are no firewall settings blocking the communication between your devices and the printer. Check the router settings for any security or firewall configurations.

Reinstall Printer on Devices:

  • Delete the existing printer from your iPhone or laptop and reinstall it. On the iPhone, you can do this through Settings > Printers & Scanners. On a laptop, go to Devices and Printers, right-click on the printer, and select Remove Device. Then, add the printer again.

Reset Network Settings on Printer:

  • On the printer's control panel, navigate to the network settings and perform a network reset. This will reset the printer's network configurations, and you'll need to reconnect it to the Wi-Fi network.

Check Bonjour Service:

  • Ensure that the Bonjour service is running on your devices. Bonjour is a networking protocol that AirPrint uses. Restarting the Bonjour service on your devices may help.

Update iOS or macOS:

  • Ensure that your iPhone or laptop is running the latest version of iOS or macOS. Sometimes, updating the operating system can resolve compatibility issues.

Verify Router Settings:

  • Double-check your router settings to ensure that there are no restrictions or special configurations preventing devices from communicating with the printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.-
