Hello,

I've just bought and installed my HP Envy 6120e All-in-One Printer and I can't print from my iPhone 16 pro IOS 18.2.1, AirPrint isn't working. It's connecting to the printer but it doesn't print, it starts making noises like it was starting printing but then stops and starts again. I'm out of ideas, anyone can help? Thanks

I have the same problem with the same printer model. Printer display shows “printing filename”, starts making noise then stop and after few second start again in a loop. No issue printing from Mac

I've found out that If I select presets and media quality like draft, it's not printing but if I just select the pages then it's printing normally

I tried your workaround and it works but I discovered that this issue occur with iOS only. with macOS i can select any presets (I frequently select draft) and quality and works perfectly

Exactly,  same here I have a Macbook MacOS Sequoia 15.3 and the printer works perfectly with all settings, also the HP Smart app works well. Problems are only if I print from my iPhone, I tried to look for a solution but I didn't find it, then by chance I've printed without setting anything, and it worked.

I prefer AirPrint so I'm not using it, but out of curiosity I tried to d/l HP Smart app on the iPhone and add the printer like on the Mac, then to print I tapped the share icon and instead of selecting 'Print', I scrolled down and selected 'Print with HP Smart' and from there you can select the paper size, print quality (draft), etc. Even if as I said being an Apple user I'll use AirPrint.
