I think I figured out why my All lights on HP DeskJet 2755e All-in-One Printer flashing...
When I first got the printer, it automatically configured itself with my modem/router to Wi-Fi 5 GHz and the lights flashed almost everyday.
It's been almost 10 days and no lights flashing. Either the last HP Smart update fixed it or somehow it was changed from 5 GHz to 2.4 GHz and that seems to have fixed it. No lights flashing

This is potentially a problem. I suspect the problem is the SSID of both bands is the same and the printer can get a different IP address when it wakes up from sleep. You should make the printer use only the 2.4ghz band. You will have to log into the modem and rename one of the bands.
When the printers IP address changes it is likely your PC will have to be told to "find" the printer. This should fix the problem as the band will no longer change and the IP address should be stabilized unless you have a flex system (multiple wifi boosters)

Instead of using a different SSID you can have your PC contact the printer using its hostname.
The following procedure will work on Windows.
The printer needs to be online and you need to obtain the hostname. You can do this from the printer by asking for a network or status report. The hostname is HP ID name of the printer and the name of the network.
Network name would be (for example)
attlocal.net
-or-
hsd1.nj.comcast.net
The printer hostname would be NPI40CB07.attlocal.net
The hostname NPI40CB07.attlocal.net can be used to access the printer even if the IP address of the printer changes.
You can use the control panel to set the location of the printer
