What is preventing my HP ENVY 5530 From printing out a label from Amazon? Amazon Amazon says it is being blocked? Us a return label cannot be printed off on my HP printer wirelessly. My printer is hooked up to the network correctly. The printer is working everything checks out A-OK, but I cannot print a return label from Amazon as Amazon is being blocked, and he cannot retrieve the information from my printer to print the label.

It sounds like there might be a communication issue between your HP ENVY 5530 printer and Amazon's servers when trying to print a return label wirelessly. 

 

Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

 

  • Check Printer Connection: Ensure that your HP ENVY 5530 is connected to the same network as your computer and that both devices have a stable internet connection.
  • Restart Devices: Sometimes restarting both your printer and your computer can resolve communication issues. Turn off your printer and computer, wait for a few minutes, and then turn them back on.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can check for updates using the printer's control panel or through the HP Smart app on your computer. Update the firmware on an HP printer
  • Check Printer Settings: Verify that your printer is set as the default printer on your computer. Also, check for any error messages or notifications on the printer's display panel.
  • Printer Driver: Make sure that the printer driver on your computer is up to date. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website if needed.
  • Browser Compatibility: Sometimes, browser settings or extensions can interfere with printing. Try using a different web browser to access Amazon and print the label.
  • Amazon Settings: Log into your Amazon account and check your printer settings. Ensure that your printer is selected as the default printer for printing labels.
  • Firewall or Antivirus: Sometimes, security software can block communication between your printer and external servers like Amazon. Temporarily disable your firewall or antivirus software (make sure to enable it after testing).
