HP Photosmart Wireless All-in-One Printer - B109n
macOS 12.0 Monterey

We have just got a new internet provider and router (Virgin Hub 3).

Every wireless device we own is connected to the new service except for the printer.

I have followed every piece of troubleshooting advice I can find.

Right now I can see the hpsetp network option on my iPhone, but it will not appear on my mac.

I have connected the printer with a usb but it does not offer me the option to change the connection to a wireless one.

I hope someone can help with this issue as I am out of options!

Thank you

I have the same problem with an HP laser 107w.  I've tried every troubleshooting option, uninstalled and reinstalled the printer but the installation either refuses to resolve the wifi connection via USB or wifi options and will not let me get into the wifi set up to do it manually.  The only way it will currently print is via a USB cable.  Shouldn't need to be this difficult.  I've tried searching for 'factory reset of 107w' but the only suggestion is the wifi reset combo, which obviously isn't working.

So I have finally managed to reconfigure my 107w to the new network, but there is no logic or anything done differently that I can share.   After giving up this morning, I realised I hadn't tried by using WPS, but that failed too, so I went back and tried again to do a fresh installation setup with the printer connected by USB cable.  For the first time it got as far as the wifi networks available screen, I chose the new one, but it then failed again to connect saying there was a general failure.  But I hit retry (again) and this time it connected.  So no logic in how this was resolved, I'd done the same process a dozen times already, but I have finally got it connected.

I’m still stuck! I’m so glad yours is working now, that’s great! Hopefully someone will have a fix for me soon.
