Common problems for Connectivity Issues

We moved, got new wifi router PLEASE how do I reconnect to a new wifi. All the HP app says is device disconnected. I'm 2 hours in a dang loop and literally bout to throw the printer in the oven

Welcome to the HP Community --

 

Nah, don't do that to your new oven.

 

I do not see that you included your printer model.

If you did so, the post failed to add the information.

 

If you have not done so, you want to clear the old network from the printer to it ready to connect to the new network.

 

Once you clear the old network, the setup is likely close to how you set up the printer at the old residence. 

 

There might be differences -- for example, if your printer only supports 2.4GHz (Wireless), make sure your router is ready and configured to support that frequency.

Open 

 Product Home - Printers

 Enter the device type and model name of your HP product

 Open Category Setup & User Guides

 Find and Open the user manual for your printer

 Check the Table of Contents or search for "connect the printer" or similar

Well, I don't know.

Seems like the printer ought to be giving some kind of indication of its situation.

 

Make sure it's clean, ready to operate, and plugged into a standard wall socket.

 

Start here:
