Hi @Ashley2004,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the WiFi and power buttons on your HP DeskJet 4133e printer are blinking, it usually indicates there's an issue with the printer's connection to the network or power supply. Here’s a step-by-step guide to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Check Power Supply:

  • Ensure the printer is properly plugged into a power source and that the power adapter is securely connected to the printer.

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer by pressing the power button.
  • Unplug the power cord from the printer and wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the printer and turn it on by pressing the power button again.

Check WiFi Connection:

  • Make sure your printer is within the range of your WiFi router.
  • Check if the WiFi network your printer is connected to is active and working properly.

Reconnect to WiFi:

  • On your printer’s control panel, locate the WiFi button or icon. Press it to enter the WiFi setup mode.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect the printer to your WiFi network. You may need to select your network and enter the WiFi password.

Update Firmware (if possible): Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Sometimes updating the printer’s firmware can resolve connectivity issues. Check the HP support website for your printer model and follow their instructions for updating the firmware.

Reset Network Settings (if necessary):

  • If you continue to experience issues, you can reset the printer’s network settings. This will erase current network settings and allow you to reconnect the printer as a new device to your WiFi network.
  • Refer to your printer’s manual or HP’s support website for specific instructions on how to reset network settings.

Check Mobile Printing Setup:

  • Ensure that your mobile device (phone) is connected to the same WiFi network that your printer is connected to.
  • Install the HP Smart app on your mobile device and follow the app’s instructions to add and set up your printer.
