Hi @Pall82,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer error!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these troubleshooting steps:

Restart Everything

  • Turn off the printer, router, and computer/phone.
  • Wait 30 seconds, then turn them back on.
  • See if the light stops blinking.

Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi (WPS Method)

  • Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for 3 seconds (or until the light blinks rapidly).
  • On your router, press the WPS button within 2 minutes.
  • The blue light should stop blinking and stay solid once connected.

Use HP Smart App

  • Download HP Smart App on your phone or PC.
  • Open HP Smart → Select Set up a new printer.
  • Follow on-screen instructions to connect the printer to Wi-Fi.

Reset the Printer's Network Settings

  • Press and hold the Wi-Fi and Cancel buttons for 5 seconds.
  • The wireless light will blink fast, meaning it's in setup mode.
  • Now, try connecting using HP Smart again.

Check Router Settings

  • Make sure the Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz (not 5 GHz, which many HP printers don't support).
  • Disable MAC address filtering or enable DHCP in router settings.

Update Printer Firmware

  • Go to HP Support (support.hp.com) and enter your printer model.
  • Download and install the latest firmware update.

If the light still blinks after trying these steps, let me know! 😊
