Hey Guys!

I do have an old HP CP5525 Printer, and for about a half year, i have a really bad problem: the printer doesn’t get an IP when connected to my local network via the RJ45 Port.

 

I do get connection tough, when i directly connect the cable to my laptop.

 

Somehow, it seems something gets blocked to connect to my network after the firmware update.

 

 

I tried the following:

 

 

  • retry firmware update
  • change network connection speed
  • NVRAM Reset
  • Coldreset
  • Reset the router

 

 

With no success.

When i connect the cable which goes to my router (Unifi Edge router POE) - not even the LED’s at the port are illuminated.

 

 

 

I had this problem ages ago already, and talked with HP Support, i don’t remember the exact fix anymore, but it was a simple thing.

Anyone has/had this problem?
