@Silvia_04, Welcome to the HP Support Community – it’s great to have you here!

I appreciate you taking the time to share your question. I'm more than happy to assist with this and provide a solution that works for you.

Let's get your HP LaserJet printer connected to Wi-Fi and working properly. Please follow these steps:

Restart Devices

  • Power off your printer, router, and computer/mobile device.
  • Wait 30 seconds, then power them back on.

Check Printer Compatibility

  • Confirm your printer model supports wireless networking. Most HP LaserJet models do, but if you're unsure, check your model here.

Use HP Smart App (Recommended)

Download the HP Smart app:

Open the app and click “Set up a new printer”.

Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer to Wi-Fi.

Manual Wireless Setup (if HP Smart fails)

  • On the printer control panel, go to Wireless Settings or press the Wireless button.
  • Select Wireless Setup Wizard.
  • Choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.

Check Router Settings

  • Ensure your router is broadcasting on 2.4 GHz (some LaserJets don’t support 5 GHz).
  • Disable MAC address filtering or add the printer’s MAC address to the allowed list.

Update Printer Firmware

Assign Static IP (Optional but Helpful)

  • Once connected, assign a static IP via your router settings to prevent future disconnections.

I hope your issue is now resolved. If not, feel free to reply and we’ll continue helping until everything’s sorted!
