This what I have 

HP Laser Jet Pro M252dw
Device model name: HP Color LaserJet Pro M252dw
Mac OS version: 10.15
Service ID: 25332

Mac Studio M1 Max
Mac OS Sequoia 15.4 (24E248)

iPhone 14 iOS 18.4

Motorola Android phone

The Problem:

 

I can not AirPrint from my desktop Mac  ButI can print from may iPhone an da s android Phone

I get this errorMac OS print window with errorMac OS print window with error

This is an annoying issue and a fix would be appreciated!

Problem solved

 

I needed to update the printer's certificate.  

The is was accomplished by using the HP Utility app

Click on network settiings

Click on additional Network settings It opens in your default browser)

Click on Networking Tab

In the left panel Network settings

Under Security click on Certificates

In the new window  Printer Certificates and under Installed click on Configure

In the new window choose "Create a new self signed certificate" Click next

You can edit the validity period the choose "finish" button

When the install is done, reboot the computer and the printer.

Whew!
