While checking in Tools>Reports>Printer reports it shows the following error i don't know what this mean.

Hi @S_Admin,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP Smart Tank 670 All-in-One printer is having trouble with the static IP address you assigned. This can happen for several reasons, such as a conflict with another device on the network or incorrect network settings. Let's troubleshoot the issue.
Steps to Resolve the Issue:
Verify the Static IP Address:
- Make sure the static IP address you assigned to the printer is within the correct range for your network.
- The IP should not conflict with other devices on the network. Check your router's DHCP range and ensure the static IP is outside this range or reserved for the printer.
Ping the Printer:
- On your computer, open Command Prompt and type ping [printer's IP address]. For example, ping 192.168.1.100.
- If you get a response, the printer is accessible on the network. If not, the issue might be with the IP configuration.
Check Subnet Mask and Gateway:
- Ensure that the subnet mask and gateway settings on the printer match your network’s settings. If they don't, the printer may not be able to communicate properly with other devices on the network.
Check for IP Conflicts:
- Log in to your router and check the connected devices list to see if any other device is using the same IP address.
Test the Printer's Network Connection:
- Since you can access the printer via USB, print a network configuration report. This report will give you detailed information about the printer's network settings.
- Go to Tools > Reports > Network Configuration Report and check if the static IP is correctly assigned and if there are any issues reported.
Event Log Analysis:
- The Event Log might contain entries that could point to network-related errors or conflicts. Review the last few entries in the log and look for anything related to network errors.
Reset Network Settings:
- If the issue persists, you can try resetting the network settings on the printer to default and then reassign the static IP.
- To reset, navigate to the Settings menu on the printer's control panel and select Network Setup > Restore Network Settings.
Reassign the IP Address:
- After resetting, you can manually assign the static IP again. Make sure to follow the correct procedure:
- Set the IP address.
- Set the subnet mask and default gateway.
- Ensure the DNS server settings are correct.
Access the Printer via Web Interface:
- Try accessing the printer's web interface using the IP address (e.g., http://192.168.1.100).
- If the web interface loads, the connection is successful.
If the Problem Persists:
If you've followed all the steps above and still can't access the printer via the static IP, it could be a firmware or network issue. In this case:
- Update Printer Firmware: Check if there's an update available for the printer’s firmware that might address network issues. Update the firmware on an HP printer
Refer to this document: HP Smart Tank 670 series User manual
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hello,
Thanks for your response
I tried ping ip address in terminal but it is showing ping: sendto: host is down.
and with the help of USB it shows connected but I still can't access through web.
Also checked that there is no other device with the similar ip address.
