I changed the password of my printer and I couldn’t connect it back to the wifi. I have done every single step that it’s being provided by the support about pressing the info button then the cancel and wifi button at the same time for 5 seconds. But once that I get to the Wi-Fi set up step, where I need to connect my devise into the direct set up Wi-Fi, the Wi-Fi light keeps blinking and It never gets to be connect it, so I can’t connect it to the wifi. This gets me so angry because why I bought an smart printer of almost $600 if it’s the dumbest electronic device that I ever bought, because it can’t even connect to the Wi-Fi to PRINT MY DOCUMENTS.

@Cfv17, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

I totally get your frustration with your printer not connecting to Wi-Fi after changing the password.

To fix it, first make sure the printer’s Wi-Fi light is blinking rapidly after pressing the Info, Cancel, and Wi-Fi buttons for 5 seconds. If it's blinking slowly, try again. Also, check if your router is using a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, as printers don’t support 5GHz. If your router has a WPS button, you can try using that to connect automatically.

Ensure the printer is close enough to the router and restart the router just in case there’s an issue. Alternatively, try setting up the printer using the HP Smart.

I hope these steps help resolve the issue
