Hi @Greenhouse2 ,

Check the connection of your HP LaserJet MFP M725 printer is experiencing issues connecting to Web Services, follow these troubleshooting steps:

Check the Connection

  1. Restart Devices: Turn off both your printer and computer or mobile device, and then turn them back on.
  2. Avoid USB Connections: Ensure the printer is not connected to a computer via a USB cable as it can impede Wi-Fi setup.
  3. Wi-Fi Network Requirements: Ensure your router supports the 2.4 GHz band, which is necessary for many HP printers. Connect your printer to this band.
  4. Move Closer: Bring your printer closer to your router to ensure a strong Wi-Fi signal.

Wired (Ethernet) Connection

  1. Remove USB Cables: Ensure there are no USB cables connected to the printer.
  2. Check Cable Connections: Verify the Ethernet cable is firmly connected to the printer and router.

Confirm Printer Supports Web Services

  • Look for ePrint or Web Services icons on your printer. If available, ensure they are enabled.

Restart All Devices

  1. Power Cycle: Turn off your printer, disconnect any USB or Ethernet cables, and restart your router and computer. Reconnect and turn them back on.

Access Printer EWS

  1. Enter the printer's IP address in a web browser to access the Embedded Web Server (EWS).
  2. Enable Web Services from the EWS home page.
