@JOSIE108, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printer Connectivity Issues!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your printer is unable to connect to the internet and you've already tried restarting it, here are some additional steps you can take to resolve the issue:

Check Network Connection:

  • Make sure your wireless router is working properly. Connect another device to the same network to verify connectivity.
  • Restart your router by disconnecting the power and reconnecting it after a few seconds.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date as outdated firmware can cause connectivity issues.
  • You can update the firmware via the printer control panel, HP Smart app, or by downloading it from the HP Software and Driver Downloads page.
  • Be cautious not to turn off the printer during the update process as it could cause permanent damage.

Re-establish Wireless Connection:

  • Reconnect the printer to the Wi-Fi network. You might need to run the Wireless Setup Wizard from the printer control panel.
  • Check if the blue wireless light on the printer is solid, which indicates a successful connection.
  • Make sure that your printer and computer or mobile device are connected to the same network.

Check Web Services Connection:

  • Make sure Web Services is enabled on your printer. You can do this through the advanced settings in the HP Smart app or the HP Embedded Web Server (EWS).
  • If the Web Services Setup page displays, follow the prompts to enable it.

Reset Web Services:

  • Reset the Web Services settings on your printer to clear any connection issues.
  • Use the HP Smart app or the HP Embedded Web Server (EWS) to perform this reset.

Check HP Smart App:

  • Open the HP Smart app and verify the printer connection status.
  • Ensure all devices (printer and computer/mobile) are on the same network to access full printer features.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
