I accidentally sent 42 copies of 3 pages of a report.  It has been printing for well over an hour and MUST have completed the 42 copies.  Printer lets me cancel individual print jobs.  I want to cancel the whole thing.

We have turned off the printer multiple times.  Have turned off wireless connection.  Have unplugged it.  There is not record of the job on my printer.  HELP!!

Do you use Windows machine to print ? If YES, please continue, otherwise please disregards my reply

I think you need to remove the queue on your computer. For Windows, please try:

  • Hold down the Windows key and press R.
  • From the Run window, type services.msc and hit enter.
  • If the machine asks for Admin you have to accept this,
  • Look down to the print spooler service, right click it and select properties
  • Click on the Stop button,
  • Browse to C:\Windows\System32\Spool\printers or C:\Windows\System\Spool\printers (this may be hidden)
  • Delete the job inside this folder
  • Reboot the machine

Regards.
