I have been attempting to fix an offline printer offline error and printer not found or printer unavailable errors. I have two college kids and I work from home. One kid commutes, one lives away but sometimes appears with laundry. For some reason recently noone in my house can print from their iPhones, iPads, or MacBook airs. We all used to be able to. For two days I have been trying to fix this. I have a display pad on my printer and when I run a network connectivity report the problem is not detected. I have restored settings on my wireless printer, uninstalled and reinstalled the printer on my iMac, rebooted the router , unplugged the printer. Basically I feel like I have tried most of the googled solutions I have found. Tried to install firmware but HP Smart app couldn’t find my printer.  The wireless network is fine, we are all on the same wifi network. WiFi direct and wireless are both on -on the printer , but I am unable to enable e print network web based. I have the hp smart app on my desktop and mobile. The app has not been able to help diagnose or fix this problem. I need some advice. Any help is appreciated. I am, by no means, tech savvy, but I can usually solve these problems with googling solutions and having patience . But I have officially run out of both. Please Help!

I don't know if this will help, but it worked for me! I THINK I was having a similar issue, I couldn't scan any documents and send them to my email. I kept getting an error that "The printer was not connecting to Web Services". I was able to do it before, but for some reason it stopped working. I tried reconnecting my wifi, turning my printer on and off, turning my router on and off. But to finally fix it, I turned the Web Services off in the Settings. I have a touch screen printer, HP ENVY 7640. From the main screen, swipe till you see "Setup", then "Web Services Setup", then "Remove Web Services". Once I removed it, I was able to turn it back on by reentering my email address and getting a new Pin emailed to me. Then it worked!!! I hope this helps you! Good luck!!!
