Hello! I am trying to set up wireless to my printer from my Mac. I am following the directions at this page:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02847467(Setting up a printer on a wireless network (Mac))
The step "Click HTML Config to open the advanced printer settings window" doesn't work for me. When I click HTML Config to take me to the advanced printer settings window, I am instead taken backwards to a previous window where I can again click Open Printer Utility. I get stuck in a loop so that I can never get to the place to set up wireless. What is wrong?
(In addition, I tried to connect to my printer using its IP address per the user manual, but it won't connect. I get a timeout message or "the server where this page is location is not responding".)

Hi @Lispper,
I'd like to help!
I understand you are trying to access the EWS page of the printer.
To assist better-
- What is the status of the wireless light on the printer, steady or blinking?
- Are you trying to connect your printer to your home network or public network?
- I would like to know, is your router set to work on 2.4 GHz network or 5 GHz network band?
What is the distance between the router and the printer?
Is there antivirus software installed on your Mac?
Are you able to print? Do you receive any errors when you try and use the Printer?
Keep me posted.

I don't know what the EWS page of the printer is, so I'm not sure that is what I need, but I will answer your questions. I can answer some of them now, but the others I'll have to look into tomorrow since it's late! These are the ones I can quickly answer:
2. I am trying to connect to my home wireless network.
4. The distance between my router and printer is about 10 feet.
5. I have no antivirus software installed on my Mac.
6. I am able to print just fine with no errors.
Thanks!
