Hi @ddf0643,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like you're experiencing an issue with the orientation and size of your printouts when trying to print a screenshot on your HP ENVY 4520 All-In-One Printer. Here are some steps you can follow to address this problem.

  1. Adjust Print Settings:

    • Open the document or image you want to print on your computer.
    • Go to the "Print" dialog or settings. This can usually be found in the program you're using to view the screenshot.
    • Check the print settings to ensure they are configured correctly. Make sure the orientation is set to "Portrait" for a typical screenshot.
  2. Page Setup:

    • If your print settings do not allow you to change the orientation, you may need to go into the "Page Setup" option (usually found within the print settings) and select "Portrait" orientation.
  3. Scaling:

    • Make sure that the scaling options are set to "Actual Size" or "100%." Sometimes, the document may be scaled to fit the page, causing it to appear larger than it should.
  4. Preview:

    • Before confirming the print, use the print preview option to see how the document will look on the printed page. This can help you ensure that the orientation and size are correct.
  5. Paper Size:

    • Ensure that the paper size you've selected in the printer settings matches the size of the paper you have loaded in the printer.
  6. Driver and Software Updates:

    • Check if there are any updates available for your printer's drivers or software. Sometimes, updating the printer's software can resolve compatibility issues.
  7. Default Printer Settings:

    • Make sure the default settings for your printer are set to Portrait orientation.
  8. Check Printer Preferences:

    • Open the printer preferences from your computer's control panel and review the settings there. Ensure that the default settings align with your desired print orientation and size.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
