Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I would prefer to not have to hard wire to my HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 but printing via bluetooth, WiFi, or USB isn't working.  Can I get some advice?

Hi,

For the OfficeJet Pro 7740, the printer doesn’t support Bluetooth printing, so that won’t work. The best options are Wi-Fi or USB.

For Wi-Fi, make sure the printer is connected to the same network as your PC. Use the HP Smart app on Windows 11 to detect and install the printer. If it doesn’t appear, try restarting both the printer and your router.

For USB, use a direct cable connection to the PC, not through a hub, and ensure the latest HP drivers are installed from the HP support site.

Once the printer is on the same network or properly connected via USB, printing should work without hard-wiring.
