I'm having trouble enabling HP ePrint. On the printer console, it says it cannot connect to the internet. I can print to it fine over the wireless network and I have solid internet connectivity. When I bring up the HP ePrint page in HP Smart, it says ePrinter server status - Printer is connected to Web Services. But under Printer's Email Address it says - Unable to handle the request. Try again later.
The Turn ePrint off temporarily box is checked. I uncheck and hit apply and it goes back to the same spot as above.
I found one forum response that changing DNS to 8.8.8.8 might help, but nothing changed.
When I try to enable ePrint on the printer itself, it says the printer is unable to connect to the service.
Any ideas?

Hi @6005C,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you’ve already tried a lot of the common fixes for this issue. Here are a few more steps you can try to resolve the HP ePrint connectivity problem with your Color LaserJet MFP M277dw.
Check Network Settings:
- Ensure that the printer is connected to the correct wireless network and that the network is functioning properly. You might want to try reconnecting the printer to your network.
- Verify that there are no firewall or security settings blocking the printer's access to the internet.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Make sure your printer’s firmware is up to date. You can check for updates through the printer’s control panel or by visiting the HP Support website.
Reset Network Settings:
- On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup > Network > Restore Network Settings. This will reset the network settings and allow you to reconfigure them.
Verify Web Services Registration:
- Ensure that the printer is properly registered with HP’s Web Services. Go to Setup > Web Services on the printer’s control panel and make sure it shows that Web Services is enabled.
Use the HP Print and Scan Doctor:
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool on your computer. It can automatically diagnose and resolve many issues related to printing and connectivity.
Verify DNS Settings:
- Although you tried setting DNS to 8.8.8.8, ensure that your network router or device is not blocking DNS requests. Double-check by setting DNS on the printer to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (Google’s secondary DNS).
Check HP ePrint Account:
- Ensure that there are no issues with your HP ePrint account. You might want to log into your HP ePrint account online and verify that there are no pending issues or actions required.
Restart All Devices:
- Power off your printer, router, and computer. Wait a few minutes, then power them back on. This can sometimes resolve network-related issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
