Hi @Len90

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

To connect your HP 6500 E printer to your Wi-Fi network using the WPS PIN method, follow these steps:

Locate the WPS PIN on the Printer:

  • On the printer's control panel, go to Settings or Network Setup.
  • Select Wireless Settings and then Wi-Fi Protected Setup.
  • Choose the WPS PIN option. The printer will display an 8-digit PIN on the screen.

Enter the WPS PIN on Your Router:

  • Log in to your router's settings (usually by entering the router's IP address in a web browser).
  • Look for the WPS setup section and enter the PIN displayed on your printer.

Alternative: Use the Push Button Method:

  • If your router supports the WPS Push Button method, press the WPS button on your router.
  • Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your printer or select the Push Button option in the printer's Wi-Fi Protected Setup menu.

Reconnect Using the HP Smart App:

  • If the WPS PIN method doesn't work, you can use the HP Smart app to set up your printer. Download the app on your computer or smartphone, and follow the instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

If this solution hits the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
