I have an HP3001DW printer and I cannot login to the embedded webserver.  There are many items that are blocked by the "administrator" which is ME!  I have no idea what it is.  I've actually tried resetting the entire printer to defaults but it still says an administrator has set a password.  I've tried blank, admin.

 

Why is this so complicated?  And to top it off, my serial number is not recoginized when I try to enter it in as a product.  I've printed out the information page and verified the serial number matches whats printed on the machine.  And there is a pin under the top cover as well but that pin never works.  

 

Wifi direct is turned off also.

Try to enter the PIN as a password, leave the user blank.
