For some reason, my scan to email had stopped working. When i tried to go back through the Embedded Web Server to find out what happened, it asks for a username / Password. I don't remember what this information is. I am okay to do a factory reset on the printer, but would that reset the web server? What are tips / suggestions to get this to work?

@ZG825, Welcome to HP Support Community!
The only option left is to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset, and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Hope this helps!

Thank you for the reply and I wrote back in the private message. I have performed the full reset and selected personal use when it reset. It still asks for username /password in the EWS.
I have also reset the network several times but still won’t work.
what are some default username / passwords that it could be?
