macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I am having difficulty setting up with instant ink because it wants a code that I cant access because it says there has been an administrative password already set up but I do not know what that password is. Therefore I would like to reset my admin password.

I understand you are trying to enroll the printer in Instant Ink and are unable to print the claim code. As the EWS page is not accessible, we will have to perform a reset on the printer.

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
  • In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage

Alternatively, refer to this document to know how exactly to print a claim code from this model printer.
