Hi @Bobcat357,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I completely understand how frustrating it can be when your trusted HP printer suddenly stops working after switching internet providers. You're not alone. This happens often, and I’m here to guide you through it with care and clarity.

Let’s get your printer happily chatting with your new Wi-Fi network again.

Steps to Change Wi-Fi Network Name and Password on Your HP Printer

Option 1: Using the HP App (Recommended for Most Users)

This method is smooth and intuitive, like giving your printer a gentle nudge to say, “Hey, we’ve moved!”

  1. Download the HP App
If you haven’t already, install it from HP App – For HP Printers, Laptops, and Tech Accessories | HP® Official Site.

  2. Reset Network Settings on the Printer
    • For printers without a touchscreen, press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons together until the power light blinks.
    • For printers with a touchscreen, go to Settings > Network Setup > Restore Network Settings.

  3. Reconnect Using the HP app
    • Open the HP app.
    • Tap Add Printer and follow the on-screen steps.
    • Select your new Wi-Fi network and enter the password.

  4. Wait for the Connection
The wireless light will turn solid blue when connected. That’s your printer saying, “I’m back online!”

Option 2: Using WPS (If Your Router Supports It)

This is like a quick handshake between your printer and router.

  1. Press the Wireless button on your printer until it blinks.
  2. Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router.
  3. Wait for the blinking to stop. Your printer is now connected.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
