MFP E52645

Recently moved from an MFP M428fdw to a MFP E52645 and am running into issues getting scan-to-email to work correctly.

The settings are the same between devices, we are using Google's SMTP server (smtp.**bleep**.com over port 465 with an authenticated account). The printer occupies the same port on the switch as the old printer did. And the new device has the IP configuration that the old device used to. But while this configuration seems to work 100% of the time for the M428fdw, it is hit-or-miss with the new device.

The test email works every single time from both devices when I go through the steps to setup the SMTP server. But when I try to use scan-to-email off of the E52645, it often ends with the device hanging and ultimately failing due to SMTP gateway response failure. Powercycling the printer seems to get it to be able to send out 5 or so successful scans, but eventually the thing will start hanging.

Any troubleshooting advice would be appreciated.
