Hi @Gary322,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To change the Wi-Fi network and password for your HP DeskJet 2630 All-In-One Printer, you can use the HP Smart app or the HP Wireless Direct method. Here are the steps for both methods.

Using the HP Smart App:

Download and Install HP Smart:

  • If you haven't already, download and install the HP Smart app on your smartphone or computer from the respective app store or the HP website.

Open HP Smart:

  • Launch the HP Smart app on your device.

Add Your Printer:

  • If your printer is already added to HP Smart, skip to the next step. If not, add your printer by following the on-screen instructions to connect it to your current Wi-Fi network.

Network Settings:

  • In the HP Smart app, click on your printer to open its settings.

Change Network:

  • Navigate to the 'Network' or 'Wi-Fi' settings section.
  • Look for an option to change the Wi-Fi network. This might be labeled as "Wireless Settings" or "Wi-Fi Setup."
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer to the new Wi-Fi network by entering the new Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password.

Using the HP Wireless Direct Method:

Reset Network Settings:

  • Turn on your printer.
  • Press and hold the 'Wireless' button and the 'Cancel' button simultaneously for about 3 seconds until the 'Power' button starts flashing. This will reset the network settings.

Connect to Printer’s Wireless Network:

  • On your smartphone or computer, open the Wi-Fi settings and connect to the printer’s wireless network, which should be something like "HP-Setup-XX-DeskJet 2630."

Access Printer Configuration:

  • Open a web browser and enter 192.168.223.1 in the address bar. This should open the printer’s configuration page.

Setup Wireless Network:

  • On the configuration page, navigate to the 'Wireless' or 'Network' settings.
  • Select 'Wireless Setup Wizard' or similar.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer to the new Wi-Fi network by entering the new Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password.

Reconnect Devices:

After updating the network settings on your printer, make sure to reconnect your smartphone or computer to the new Wi-Fi network. You might also need to update the printer’s connection settings on any devices that use it for printing.

By following these steps, you should be able to successfully change the Wi-Fi network and password on your HP DeskJet 2630 All-In-One Printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
