Product: Officejet Pro 8600 plus

My printer is connected to my network through Ethernet not WIFI. The printer supports Direct Print through it own WIFI using it own WIFI SSID. When I enable this feature it broadcast it SSID on channel 6. I would like to move it WIFI network to channel 11.

Hi,

You cannot set a specific channel for HP Wi-Fi Direct, the configuration options are limited for a printer, this is a basic wireless connectivity option for printing purposes only, it have no configuration settings as a router...

 

The feature is intended for direct printing for up to 5 nearby devices, if the signal is too low you would need to place both closer together.
