Chromebook - The selected printer is not available or not installed correctly

Chrome OS

Hi have a new HP ENVY 5070 which prints fine from my Mac's and other MS Surface Pro, but it does not print from my sons Chromebook.  I get the message "The selected printer is not available or not installed correctly" message.

It has to be something to do with the Chromebook as all other devices print fine.  I have the latest Chrome OS installed.  Any ideas?

@Brid08, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

I see that you are unable to print from Chromebook, try to remove and add the printer before you try printing.

 

Refer to the document HP Printers - Printing from a Chromebook for help.
