HP LaserJet Pro MFP M148dw

I recently added a Verizon 5G router.  All devices are setup on the same network including our Laser Jet Pro MFP M148dw.  However, my Chromebook and Android Galaxy 23 plus "cannot connect" to the printer. I have been on chat with Verizon and they feel it is an HP issue not on their end since all devices are working on the same network.  Just can't print.  Any suggestions.

Hi,

Please print a Network Summary page and ensure that the TCP/IP Settings are set as Automatic or DHCP and not as manual, as manual settings of a previous network may cause such a behavior.

To change the TCP/IP Settings if required, from the setup menu select Network Settings, then Advanced Settings and look for IP Settings, then change it to Automatic and check for any difference.

If the same persists, also print and evaluate a Wireless Test Report which is available under Setup > Self Diagnostics > Wireless Test and check it middle Troubleshooting section - may it indicate any specific attention or a warning?

The error I am getting is "More than one access point/wireless router has been found that matches your wireless network's name (SSID).  If this is unintended your HP Printer might connect to the wrong wireless network.  If you change your network's name you will need to configure the SSID on all of your wireless devices to match the new network SSID.

**Warning: Condition may cause network issues.

I had printing ability yesterday afternoon.  However, this morning my chromebook and android phone (Galaxy 23 plus) cannot connect to printer.  I do know that my Verizon router shows it is connected to 5Ghz and the 2.4 Ghz is not connected.  Verizon was not able to tell me if this was an issue with the printer.  Appreciate any suggestions/assistance you can  provide.

This is likely an issue with the network configuration and not with the printer, many routers does not allowing a proper communication across the different bands.

Please ask your ISP to separate the SSIDs (e.g home + hone5) and check the results when connected to the same bands.

This is not an issue with the printer, any hardware failure would result an applicable result, and the issue would be Constant and not intermittent as you describe.
