My HP Chromebook used to connect to my HP DeskJet 2752 with no problem. For some reason I can't figure out they are no longer compatible. The printer works fine if I sent a print request form my work laptop (Windows), but it will not print  from my Chromebook. Although the listing for print/scan in tools says they are connected they still won't print. I tried attaching a cable from the Chromebook to the printer, but still no luck. The printer still scans and copies on it's own. Everything seems to be connected and functioning properly, Why won't my HP printer print jobs from my HP Chromebook?

I also have this problem with my chromebook trying to use a HP DeskJet 4155. All of the sudden I have no printing capabilities and have even tried updating firmware that is currently up to date and even downloaded the HP apps and signed in to them.  Still nothing.  Seems like someone put a decimal in the wrong spot (another mundane detail)- Office Space.

Now the problem is I don't know if I want to smash my chromebook or printer in a field like Samir, Michael and Peter.
