Product: Deskjet F2180 all-in-one
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Deskjet F2180 printer/scanner all-in-one. I want to be able to connect it to my TalkTalk hub so that all household computers can use it.

 

I've plugged in the printer, connected it to the hub, and turned it on. I'm unable to detect the printer with my pc.

 

I've tried; plug the printer into my pc to install the drivers, then plugging the printer back into the TalkTalk router. Still not showing.

 

What am I doing wrong/missing? Please help.

For me it came up with a window that allowed me to select my printer model

because I selected the printer model it shows as the [printer name] + [IP address], rather than 'Unknown' explained below.

Hope this helps anyone else having trouble connecting to their printer.
