I recently received a Hitron-2250 modem from my internet service provider, but they say they can't help me connect my Samsung printer to it. I find the modem user manual incomprehensible, and all the advice I've seen here requires HP software. 

Until this modem, I've been printing from my android phone using the Samsung Mobile Print app. Thanks for any advice.
